synopsis

"Go to Europe they said. It will be fun they said. Well I fucking went to Europe and came back fat, sad, and with a questionable rash that not even Savlon can fix. I guess it was a little less Eat Pray Love and a little more Eat Drink Cry.”

A group of friends quit their jobs, buy one-way tickets to Europe, and head off on what they hope will be a pilgrimage to greener pastures and better bratwurst. After just two months however, they find themselves back in Australia - broke, unemployed, and googling Centrelink options on their parents’ couch.

This is a show about running away. An anti 'finding yourself' story. A travel tale you won’t find on Instagram.

the players put on a high-energy, funny and enthusiastic show (which gets more than a few chuckles to be honest) ★★★½ The Advertiser

Tasha O'Brien created a low-key character who was equally as engaging for her 'everywoman appeal'. She spoke 'straight' and with her delivery timed and measured to audience response, inspired real and honest connection. Tasha's skits took the audience into her world of travel and she gave back – even offering reflection from YouTube hits such as 'sexual planking'. Her style was almost conversational and it is a refreshing interlude Weekend Notes, Melbourne
